  • Advanced Certificate in teaching Very Young Learners

    The Teaching Young Learners course can be taken at the same time as the CertTEFL programme, but it is also available to people who have studied another TEFL course at Level 5 (or above) of 120 hours or more guided learning time.

    On successful completion of the course you will be well equipped to start your career as a young learners EFL teacher.

    The course consists of three mandatory modules. Each module ends with a knowledge check and there is an assignment.

    The programme is designed to cover all the main aspects of teaching English to young learners from understanding the development of cognitive and learning skills as children grow to planning your lessons and courses.

  • Advanced Diploma

    You can upgrade the Certification to Advanced Diploma by submitting an Independent Study paper - the topic to be chosen at the beginning of the course.

    This will enable you to take more of a leadership role within an Academy or School in the area of study.
